Runescape has been around for years, becoming one of the biggest names in browser based gaming. You can either play with a free account or you can pay a little more to become a member and unlock a lot of new features, whatever interests you more.

Whichever you choose, you are going to have a lot of activities and possibilities ahead of you. From mining and woodcutting to questing and battling, this MMO is not lacking in things to do. You also have a huge and loyal community around you to keep it interesting, to keep you coming back, and to give you new things to do every day.

Free accounts are rather limited, but that is not going to make the game boring. There are restrictions as to where you can go, what you can do, and what you can wear, but there are still plenty of options, like woodcutting, mining, fishing, battling, and questing. Free members are able to take advantage of the available skills and areas quite a bit, though they are not able to unlock everything.

Runescape members have everything available to them, including some special items and member loyalty features. You will be able to go deeper into certain skills, like being able to cut down a certain type of tree that is not available to free players, as well as do a lot more in general.

There are more skills, quests, items, areas, and opportunities as a member. The game changes a lot when you have a membership because of the huge increase in choices available.

There are constant goals and there is always something to do. You can try to compete with people on the high scores, you can try to reach new levels in order to unlock a new option, you can go find quests, or you can try to unlock special features or areas in the game. With so many years behind this game, it has had time to grow and to add to its already massive world.

There is constantly more being added to the Runescape world, too. You are going to find new quests, items, and areas often, which help to keep the in game economy growing and make everything a lot more interesting.

For holidays, Runescape regularly has events where major holiday figures come out, give you something to do, and reward you for your efforts. This is a great way to bring the community together, have some fun, and get a special item and action for your time. These events are just one of the ways that the game is staying fresh and interesting.
